President & Founder Message

On Behalf of Advisory Council and team member of Pakistan Koha Community it’s my pleasure to welcome you all to Pakistan Koha Community Pakistan. Koha Pakistan Community was established in order to supports and promotes open Sources software within Pakistan and aboard as well. This open-source moment was started to spread the concept/idea of open-source software which are being used in different organizations for different purpose. As we know that Digital technology is transforming business, society and the everyday lives of people. Koha Pakistan Community role has always been to innovate, and through ICT to support the Society. Our main aims to help our Youth and to excel their potential in the field of Open Source Technologies being used in Libraries and other organizations. We strong believe that FOSS can help to customize the requirement.

Over the last decade we are working to promote Free and Open Source Software within Pakistan and raise awareness and adoption of Open Source Software and to build bridges between open Source Community.

I hope that Koha Pakistan will play a vital role in the automation and digitization of all kind of libraries and organizations thought Open Source Software and will bring the real change in practice. We are dedicated to building sustainable ecosystems around open source projects to accelerate technology development and industry adoption.  Foundation provides unparalleled support for open source communities through financial and intellectual resources, infrastructure, services, events, and training. Working together, The Koha Pakistan Community and its projects form the most ambitious and successful investment in the creation of shared technology.
