Dr. Midrar Ullah is currently Librarian and Literature Search Officer at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities (S3H), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad. He started his career as a lecturer at the Department of Library and Information Science (LIS), University of Peshawar in 1995. He received MLIS (1994) degree from University of Peshawar, Pakistan. He also earned M. Phil. (2011) and Ph.D. (2015) degrees in LIS from University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He has more than 20 years of experience of librarianship along with teaching and research experience in the field of LIS. He is author of 20 research publications. He has presented many papers in national and international conferences. He was awarded Cunningham International Fellowship Award of Medical Library Association (USA) in 2012. His research interests are medical librarianship, information literacy instruction, online resources and bibliometrics.
